What to include

For a new installation, provide the connected equipment list, measured or nameplate watts, combined VA, nominal input voltage, frequency, required runtime at the stated load, rack height or floor-space limit, input plug, output receptacles and communications expectations. For a replacement request, add the complete UPS model, serial context where appropriate, battery cartridge reference, observed alarm or fault indicator and the result of any documented restart procedure.

Battery runtime is conditional rather than fixed. Ambient temperature, battery age, charge state, load power factor and external battery configuration can change the available minutes. Do not open energized equipment or bypass site electrical safety procedures to collect information. If the unit does not restart after an outage, record the display message and sequence of events; troubleshooting remains subject to the series manual and qualified service review.

Certification and regulatory evidence also varies by model and destination. Name the required UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, IEC or CB Scheme document instead of assuming a family-level statement applies to the selected configuration. We use that requirement as a review field and do not represent an unverified marking as universal coverage.
